It was -40 last week so -18 would have been welcome.
Up here they don't need to tell us that the wind can make it feel colder. They just say "feels like" and leave it at that.

Feels like I understand why you have weird dreams now.
Ever been there? Shining Hotel, Estes Park, in Colorado. I've been there a couple times. One thing for sure en route there is wildlife; goats, elk, sheep, all of it. The hotel is pretty isolated.
Story goes; Stanley Kubrick stayed there and got inspired to write The Shining so he stayed at the hotel until the novel was finished.
Only time I've had Rabbit Confit actually. Wasn't a fan of it. Never had it since. But the restaurant on the ground level was fancy! It has copper, like real copper, ceiling tiles.
