In just a few more hours this would be in effect. Today, there was a panic buy at the hypermarkets where everyone was rushing to stock up for food and other items.

I guess it would be about 2 weeks or more before I will be able to get my favourite noodles soup.
What else has been announced was that everyone who is planning to get out of state and go home has to seek permission from the Police as all you are suppose to be doing is to remain at home and practice "social distancing"
Ironically I started receiving all the emails from online food services throwing in their latest promotions.
I guess in time of crisis, there is always some sort of business opportunity. For me, I'm stocked up for about a week plus and should be OK for now.
According to the announcement, all essential businesses like hypermarts and markets would still be operational and we would be able to buy our supplies as per normal.
All eateries (a Malaysian fav pastime) would be closed off and only open for take aways and no dine in.
A lot of other businesses not included in the "allowed to open" list are in dillema such as Hotels. Can you imagine that if you are a tourist here in Malaysia, all hotels literally need to close and ask you to leave. Apparently the Hotel association is in talks with the govt about this.
The kids seems to be happy as the school holidays has been extended till the end of the month. They told me that some would be reverting to Google Classroom for their classes. Let's see how that works out.
Its going to be a really interesting 2 weeks and I pray that everyone stay safe.
