I think we all knew this with tons of channels being shadowbanned since YouTube has complete control over the serving of content now, there is no place on your feed for manual curation its all just recommended garbage and they will have one or two videos to try and pull you into their circle and once you watch those your entire recommendation changes. Most people don't notice this because well they just using the platform without giving much thought to what's being curated
I personally use Google and Reddit to find videos I would be interested in its really the only way to manually find and curate videos you would be keen one. YT is really becoming a toxic place unfortunately, there is no longer much You left in it. Its more coprorateTube now
