After a few weeks of sickness and work needed to be finished, I finally took some days off until 2nd of Jan to rest.

With rest I mean, more time for kids, not really physically resting :))

Yesterday we went to the Amsterdam Winterparadijs obviously in Amsterdam.

Although it was a bit pricy with 19,50 per person, we stayed until 21:00 spending a full day there.

Parking was also very expensive with 21 euro for a full day. Still there were a lot of activities and lots and lots of food!!

It was very crowded because it was Saturday and many people took some days off to combine Christmas with new year vacation. There was also live music. We enjoyed our time here.

I never did ice skating, although I live in The Netherlands for some time now. With shaking legs I did try yesterday... It was quite embarrassing:(( We did laugh a lot to my ice skating performance...

We finished the day with the Ferris wheel. Half of the group were too scared to get on this :)) But all kids were enthusiastic. So I joined the kids and enjoyed our ride.

With parking, eating and drinking it was a bit expensive for a single day, but it was very amusing with all possible activities and all kinds of food.

So if you are in the neighborhood you should give it a try ;)

That's nice. You had a great day with your family.

But that's not a lifestyle I could handle. As soon as too much chattering starts around me, my brain starts screaming: "Arrrggghhh. Stop this impossible noise!"

I would never have patience to deal with kids, 24/7. I'd quickly go insane.

You get used to it :))
Still it’s not easy to continuously watch out that kids are nearby.
Thanks for dropping by.
