Hi dear steemiens, my name is Gheambyt George I’m 29 years old and I ‘m from Romania (Eastern Europe). I’m a Psychologist working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, and everyday I work with kids that are Autistic.
@lishu introduced me to steemit in January and ... it took me awhile to decide what to post on this platform. I've decided to post my adventures in the world of permaculture and sustainable living.
I live in Bucharest, in my small yard I experiment and grow different edible plants, for example last year I grew 200 hazelnuts, some edible chestnuts, almonds, climbing roses and thousands of locust trees in pots, in an urban environment, with limited sunlight and surrounded by 11 story buildings, on only 62.5 square meters (672.7444ft²), aha it's a tite fit.
I have a permaculture orchard that i'm building 300 kilometers from the city, in the mountains. The purpose of the orchard is eventually to be my primary activity, from which i will suport me and my family.
I've been fascinated by plants, and growing them, since my childhood when I did it on my parents balcony. Back then I would bring home wild animals that I found in the park (sparrows, pigeons, lizards, a owl...) and kept them as pets for a while. Nothing compares to the emptiness you feel inside when a baby owl stares directly into your eyes.
In the last 5 years I've had some interesting projects like:
Propagating 400 tobacco plants in my rented apartment.
Growing 250 goji plants in another rented apartment in the Old Town, the party zone of Bucharest. Those goji plants listened to music 20 hours a day (party plants).

Bine te-am găsit 😊! Mă bucur întotdeauna să întâlnesc pasionați de permacultură și autosuficiență. De altfel, sunt foarte curios apropo de ce părere ai vizavi de Son-Rise.
In primăvara asta încep să experimentez cu permacultura pe un teren apx 2000mp. Ți-am dat follow în speranța că voi găsi aici mici secrete de inceput in acest minunat mod de producere a hranei zilnice. Multă putere de muncă îți doresc, și mult timp disponibil pentru proiecte de suflet 😊.
2000 de mp, superb, ce vrei sa faci cu ei? livada mixta, productie de legume, jungla?
Te rog din tot sufletul sa nu faci o jungla, insist sa nu alergi ca un bezmetic aruncand seminte in stanga si-n dreapta pentru ca vei da ecosistemul peste cap si-ti va lua vreo 2 ani sa repari greselile.
Sunt 2500pm in total, iar obiectivul final este o gospodărie autarhică în care se vor găsi(printre altele), un iaz,sera, acvacultură+permacultură, o V.A.W.T., fântână, mlaștină artificială.... . Bineînțeles că voi pune toată călătoria pe Steem 😋. Încep in două săptămâni 😉.
Îți mulțumesc pentru răspunsul de mai sus, Son-Rise funcționează doar cu 100% acceptare și dragoste necondiționată, something you can't fake. Personal, sunt adeptul unui amestec intre ABA, Son-Rise, Greenspan Floor Time și împărtășesc viziunea lui Albert Adler .
De altfel, cred că substanțele psihedelice au un potențial "nedescoperit" in înțelegerea autismului 😁.
Bine ai venit! Si eu am exact visul asta, sa imi fac o livada undeva departe de Bucuresti in urmatorii 5 ani. Si am prieteni care deja si-au cumparat teren departe de Bucuresti. Si eu am o curte mica, din pacate nu am timp si sunt si lenes! Te asteptam si pe Discord, iti spune @lishu :D
Salut in legatura cu Son-Rice, nu am practicat si nu cunosc pe nimeni care sa practice in Romania, insa am asistat la cateva conferinte in care erau prezentate tehnicile.
La un moment dat am incercat pentru cateva zile renumita lor tehnica de a socializa ,,intrand in lumea lor" (a copilului) si vreau sa spun ca este o prostie care face mult mai mult rau decat bine.
Din experienta mea (8 ani de ABA) iti pot spune ca toate terapiile de recuperare care au baza stiintifica in spate ajuta la dezvoltare unor aptitudini, nici una dintre ele nu poate face o recuperare completa insa . Personalitatea umana nu este formata doar din cunostinte ,,tehnice" despre lume (ABA) si nici nu poate fi formata doar din aptitudini sociale pe care le manivestezi sub forma de afectiune(Son-RIce).
Una dintre problemele din tara asta este ca diferite profesii (cum ar fi a mea) nu sunt recunoscute ca profesii, iar ca si efect, nefiind recunoscuta si reglementata, orice om de pe strada care a frunzarit o carte despre ABA poate pacali familii disperate ca este un specialist. Tot ce trebuie sa faca este sa se prefaca ca stie ce face si ,,sa traga o spoiala frumoasa".
Analiza Comportamentala Aplicata a fost si este inteleasa de foarte putin romani.
Daca cunosti pe cineva care are un copil diagnosticat cu Autism, te sfatuiesc sa le recomanzi sa caute un consultant ABA certificat B.C.B.A. ( Board Certified Behavior Analyst). Aceasta certificare o primesti dupa 4 ani de studii din care 2 sunt de practica zilnica sub supervizare, desigur obtinuta intr-o tara civilizata. Iar scolarizarea costa cam 60000 euro pt 4 ani, deci Tanti Coca care a facut Psihologie Clinica la Spiru Haret nu-si permite.

Wow, that is amazing! I am very impressed with the plants you are propagating in such small spaces.
It seems we have similar goals. One of my main projects after our house is finished is to start a nusery.
I am particularly interested in hearing more about the hazelnuts as they are on my list of main plants. Also the locust. We have already planted some black locust as a trial to see how they do.
