RE: Pet Blacktip Sharks for Billionaires? People are HUNGRY you assholes!

in #pets6 years ago

Regarding the 1 billion dollar piece of dirt, i think someone would buy it to build a couple of houses, i think that piece of land is enough for a couple of 200 million houses, but i can't really tell because it's a photograph.

Regarding the sharks, I would totally spend that money on building a shark tank inside my house if I got $33.3 million per day like bill gates does and I had already given out soo much! Bill has given so much money to charity, and HIV research, that a shark tank is probably 1/1000 of the total money he has given to charity, maybe even less! Yes, we all want to help each other, but if we can't spend the money on buying things that we want sometimes how do you expect him to be happy?! He is not a saint, if he didn't rip the rewards out of his own hard work he would probably go mad...It's not like he has a 1 billion dollar whale tank! Having a Shark tank may cost millions, but he probably makes enough each day to feed the sharks for months and he only bought the tank once! Does he need a shark tank to be happy? Probably not... but if the man likes his sharks...

And poverty and famine in most countries is a result of shitty corrupt governments...

Regarding the Hollywood famous people that, unlike bill gates, haven't given anything to the world and never helped anyone I agree with you, it's one thing to indulge in absurd things once in a while, it's a totally different thing to indulge every day without taking care of humanity!

So, in my opinion, if you have money then there should be a direct relationship between how much you give out to help the world and how much you spend on your own greed.

BTW I think this should put things in perspective:

Bill and Melinda Gates give 95% of wealth to charity. Bill and Melinda Gates are one of the richest couples in the world but they've pledged to give away 95% of their fortune - so far £17 billion has gone to their charitable foundation which helps health projects across the globe

This was back in 2010, imagine how much they have given now in 2018... all-in-all, what is a couple of million dollar shark tank in the face of billions of dollars given out to charity?

Now if you are talking about animal rights and animal protection, yes, I do agree that these sharks should be out in the ocean, but first, we should tackle problems like the ocean's pollution which ends up killing sharks, whales, dolphins, etc...
