While the lasers used in the @holozing world are going to be holographic and not really damaging to creatures, I got to experience real life lasers today when removing a birthmark.

They put some local anesthesia first and then went on with it, it took only a few minutes for quite a big birthmark. Maybe cause I hadn't had breakfast yet, but I kind of started feeling nauseous and sweaty/weak during the procedure, luckily it ended fast, so I lay down for a few minutes and felt better pretty quick.

Went and had breakfast after and was told to avoid bending or stretching the area too much for a week or so. They'd remove the sutures then and check on how it healed. Anyway, was quite a mild surgery. Will probably get the test results of the biopsy in a week as well.

I decided to take a chill day today, it is saturday after all + the beginning of my day went to the "surgery".

We decided to watch the movie Hoppers, a Disney X Pixars production. Was quite good, although most animated movies are, I feel like. The connection between people and animals I guess often has more meaning to viewers as most have pets in their lives as well. Either way, recommend checking it out.

Other than this quick post, imma be doing some curation I'm behind on already, then probably try and get to sleep a bit earlier than I did last night, even though I took a short nap when I got home today from the procedure.

Ah good to hear the procedure went well and left you happy with a day of rest. Hoping for good test results and a smooth recovery.

I have a day with nothing specific on the agenda but a pile of procrastinated chores and a bit of rehearsal for a show we have next week. So, most likely a bit of the same relaxation and recovery after a long week.

Might have to check out a movie too!

Fast recoveries... never had that done in life.

I am burning some time today (while prepping for something, IRL), and then this week I am going under again. Not expecting much daylight for poking around here, unfortunately.

Since the birthmark is removed, will that area now regenerate normal skin? I had a friend who had this on his arm. He removed it himself with some compass(I know, crazy) but it grew back after some months. Anyway, hope you are doing well :)

By the way, was the treatment expensive?

Yeah hopefully it won't grow back lol, i'm not surea about what's gonna grow back. I felt like I asked too many questions already and he seemed to mostly be in a rush to get things done lol.

Myea quite expensive I'd say.

I hope everything goes well, my friend. My grandfather also had surgery today. Get well soon and take good care of yourself.

Please don't comment on my posts with that footer anymore, especially if @sagarkothari88 is going to promote it "this way" with upvotes on most comments.

I find it quite disgusting.

@suisver I request you to edit your comment & remove that footer.
@acidyo any new comments won't have such footer.-----

They can use the footer, it's the way you promote it that's not cool in my opinion.

It'd be the same for any other dapp out there, for instance if splinterlands or holozing made footers of their referral links and then just upvoted anyone and everyone rather than using the promoted feature that burns rewards or it costing them something to promote like delegations.

Dunno, it's a bit gray area I guess as I wouldn't wanna take away usecases of having HP, but maybe it can be done better.

Yes. Next time, I will share ideas before implementing it. It would be great to discuss before implementing & executing it.-----

appreciate it, i don't mean to sound too harsh, was just the first thing I noticed after waking up and then saw all the other comments that had been upvoted the same way

i'm sure you understand what I mean by gray area that maybe the community may not agree with

Apologies!

We're not funded for apps we've built but we still want to promote our apps.

We're yet experimenting & I understand that approach wasn't best for bringing more community members to try our apps.

I think adding single link for all of our apps - linktree link

Hope that we can settle on linktree link - single small link as a footer.
Let me know your thoughts-----

Wishing your grandfather the best of luck, and thank you for your kind words.

The wrong time for me to bring up the footer thing, I know, I'm just mostly angry at the way @sagarkothari88 / @letsbuyhive decide to promote their stuff by forcing it in everyone's face.

Thank you for the feedback.
We've disabled it.
We're experimenting to promote our apps without taking any DHF.
I guess, this one isn't going to work-----

7-10 days then goodbye sutures!

take some painkillers for the first days if it hurts, is normal and well just take a rest...

Well done for having it done! I think you meant biopsy (as you said before) instead of autopsy, haha!
Wishing you a smooth, painless week while you let that area heal. Don't wet the area too soon to avoid infection. Keep it dry for usually up to 7 days, and don't pick the scab to avoid scarring. :)

Let your recovery come quickly. Thank God it was peaceful and successful. Enjoy a peaceful Sunday!

Thank you very much sir...!

Glad your surgery was successful... wishing you a quick recovery.

Make sure you rest.

nice work :D
