The Philippines are the oldest democracy in Southeast Asia with a promisingly developing economy with pro-western culture. The country is the only Asian state with dominant Christianity. Where to start? I left our republic to visit Coron, an island in the Philippines, part of Palawan. These first lines are tappied into my Iphone at the airport in Manila. However, when I am returning home. It's always hard to sum up the whole adventure. Especially when the melancholy begins to play in you. In your head are all the experiences that you had collected and you starts to thinking about return to everyday routine life.
This year I made a change. I celebrated New Year's Eve without my relatives. I accepted the offer of a person I know only from the online world. "Come visit me to the Philippines," Ciao suggested. The truth is, he isn´t completely strange. He is long time friend of my brother. And mostly I accept every crazy challenge. New Year's Eve celebrations were quite different than I know. We started quite early, maybe at 1 p.m. and in the evening we were expecting an amazing dinner. However, we didn´t stay in the capital and we are leaving to Coron Island on 2.1.2019.
When I travel, I usually backpacking and not once slept on the street. This time it is different. I am visiting selected restaurants for dinner, sleep in a beautiful hotel, use a travelguide, and met with successful Filipinos. I tried to capture the life of the most common people living on Coron. I have many snapshots so you can expect another posts. In my photos you can see typical tricycles passing the streets, daily routine of local people, beautiful nature, and unfortunately young children returning home from their work in the evenings ...

Filipíny jsou nejstarší demokracií v jihovýchodní Asii s nadějně se rozvíjející ekonomikou s prozápadní kulturou. Země je jediným asijským státem s dominantním křesťanstvím. Kde však začít? Opustil jsem naši republiku s cílem navštívit Coron, tj. ostrov na Filipínách, část Palawanu. Tyhle první řádky naťukávám do mého Iphone na letišti v Manille. Avšak už při návratu domů. Je těžké vždy shrnout celé dobrodružství. Obzvlášť když ve Vás začne hrát ta melancholie. Hlavou Vám proletí všechny ty zážitky a myšlenky o návratu do běžného života..
Letos jsem učinil změnu. Oslavil jsem Silvestra bez mých blízkých. Přijmul nabídku člověka, kterého znám pouze z online světa. “Přijeď mě navštívit na Filipíny” navrhl Ciao. Pravdou je, že tak úplně cizí mi není. Je dlouholetým kamarádem mého bratra. A taky většinou kývnu na každou blbost. :-D Silvestrovské oslavy byly dost jiné, než na které jsem zvyklý. Začali jsme poměrně brzy, snad v jednu odpoledne a večer nás čekala úžasná večeře. V hlavním městě jsme se však nezdrželi a hned 2.1 2019 odlétáme na ostrov Coron.
Když cestuji, běžně si jedu svůj backpacking a ne jednou jsem spal na ulici. Tentokrát však chodím na večeře do vybraných restaurací, spím v krásném hotelu, využívám průvodce a seznamuji se s úspěšnými Filipínci. Snažil jsem se svými fotkami zachytit život těch nejběžnějších lidí žijících na Coronu. Snímků které Vám chci ukázat je více a tak očekávejte, že se asi nějaký ten post objeví. Na fotkách vidíte typické tříkolky brázdící ulice, život místních lidí, překrásnou přírodu a bohužel i malé děti, vracející se večer domů z jejich práce...

Zprvu jsem si myslel, že tam má na palubce nalepenou českou vlajku. Až později jsem si všiml, že jsou barvy zpřeházený. ;)

Hi! I am seeing we are in same age ;) anyway Coron is very small! Definitelly buy boat trip, drink in reggae bar and rent a motorcycle and discover Island. If you wanna rest, go to hotsprings and visit Marcilla beach... be carefull, it is one and half hour far from downtown and road is in bad condition (I am not small pussy, it is really bad ;) ... Steem on!
