I just feel like I want to go below those mountains and enjoy the cool breeze while floating in the first heaven. In this second shot of my practice in digital painting, I created in "my world" mountain with snow peaks and a valley floor below. shaped-up the snow peaks with color combinations of basic colors.
The sky is always spectacular to look at with heavenly clouds supporting the main mountain as the subject. With a little more practice I might get a more detailed mountain with an irregular shape typical of what we see in nature. I also gave it a shadow on the side to make a little 2-dimensional effect or so.
I am just adjusting into the advantages and disadvantages of using this painting application but since I can zoom in to make some touch-ups for this artwork, it makes an excellent difference. But a real painting with real brushes, palettes, painting knifes, etc. cannot be discounted. It is indeed better to use the real thing, but tthis digital application just makes a good tool for someone like me who can't procure such real-life tools.
I'll do some nature-inspired artwork and try to practice what the late Bob Ross had taught in his painting show. Some of his techniques cannot be done in a digital painting application but just the same, it does good too and the result seems satisfactory for my own tastes as well.
