Unlike him many people are unaware of how their thoughts and feelings contribute to their perceived Identities which make them resist change even if they proved wrong. On the other hand, People belive that their thoughts and opinions dectates how worthy they are, that is why they can’t accept them being wrong and remain in state of irrational self-righteousness.
