Find out who you are talking to before you open your mouth and remember that you are merely one person on a world of billions. Not everyone believes as you do. Be tolerant and inclusive so that we all retain the freedom to do as we will without hurting ourselves or others. Books contain knowledge and knowledge is power, so go read a book!

Listen and think before you speak. I know it is difficult to keep "knee-jerk" reactions from prevailing over sensible thought as we are all human, with our own flaws, and I am no different. But, just because someone or something is different than what we are used to, that does not make it automatically wrong. Give it a chance, you might even enjoy yourself!
