Watts Wednesday On A Saturday?

So it is time to make another issue of Watts Wednesday despite the fact it is not a Wednesday. If you didn't know or you are new to my content, I used to make posts every Wednesday regarding speeches and quotes of different philosophers to commemorate their great work as well as give my view on the message that they are trying to convey. Hopefully, I will get back into the regime of doing it, but I'll occasionally make posts like this.

Society, A Perpetual Cycle

My Views

Society conditions children to live with a relentless frustration and worry concerning the future, and never learn the way to live in the present.

"Making plans for the future is of use only to those who are capable of living within the present" it's not that we should not consider the future and try to calculate ahead in any respect. Rather it's that we tend to invariably seek results, even once there are not any.

We continually ask what is in it for us? However, there is not anything there. If you're not capable of examining the worth of nowadays, tomorrow is not worth anything. However if today IS worth something then, by all means, let's have tomorrow too.

He refers to the constant ticking of looking for the next best thing. Like a concert, or any other type of activity where you only acknowledge being there (experiencing it) and shortly after looking for the consequent satisfying thing.

How many times does one style your food rather than simply sitting down and eating it? It's sort of an equivalent concept. Somebody who experiences this can for certain be there to experience a planned future, rather than living the present planning the next thing.

There can return a time when people who insist that life should be taken seriously will solely get in the way of productive activity. Once economic processes become as necessary as the outcomes, they produce. Once the words work, economy, job and boss, have totally different meanings.
