Knowing v Doing

in #philosophy7 years ago

Its been said that knowing and doing are not always good bedfellows, often times they sleep in separate rooms separated by long corridors and reconciling the two may test the patience of even the best marriage guidance counsellor. Especially when the separation is firmly established.

If the knowledge aspect of the relationship is proven to be sound then half of the battle to reunite the couple is won, however if there is even the smallest of doubts in its fullness, then the failure on the part of the doer to act on the possible flaws would be justified, and probably even encouraged.

If on the other hand the doubt lays squarely at the door of the doer and its inability to successfully use that knowledge, then other strategies need to be called into play to reunite the two, before what was once merely a separation evolves into a full blown divorce.
