Do Not Be Afraid To Lose, Because Nothing is Yours

in #philosophy6 years ago

There is no gain or loss. There is the enjoyment or not of what surrounds you In a pure relationship there are no rights or obligations, but desires and wills .
Of all the fears that exist, the stupidest is to fear happiness. When we are down, even if we do not like it, we know that everything that comes will be better. Just the opposite of what happens when we are up. In terms of satisfaction, we like stairs more than slides. Accepting that the next step can take us to a ditch or a step is the first premise to not be blocked and dare to walk. Although in adversity we feel more miserable, in happiness we feel more vulnerable. As Brené Brown writes,

"it is easier to live in disappointment than to feel disappointed."

You feel more vulnerable when you walk in and out of disappointment than when you have permanent camp in it. You sacrifice joy, but you suffer less.

" Far from enjoying when everything goes smoothly -and in full sail-, we worry about if it stops blowing and we stay in the middle of the sea. Who could fear happiness? Maybe you're thinking. He who fears losing her And who can fear losing? He who believes that something belongs to him. "There is no gain or loss. There is the enjoyment or not of what surrounds you. "

The fear of losing As the human being has such a marked tendency to take over everything, few things can disturb him more than being stripped. "If I do not have, who am I?"

You might ask. Thus, while thinking and looking for formulas not to lose, forget that the solution is not to possess. Holdings are artifices of man (mainly Western). The thing would come more or less to be like this: someone someday said "this is mine", he put a fence and a mailbox in his name and the following not only believed it but they wanted to buy it. The verb to have (own) indicates property, and property is nothing other than a 'self-management' of something that either belongs to nobody or belongs to everyone.

There are no holdings outside the registers and our minds. Therefore, there is no gain or loss. There is the enjoyment or not of what surrounds you. The fear of losing ... in love If taking ownership of things already brings with it important consequences, it is worse when we do it with people.

Love does not support capitalism. Nobody belongs to anyone, neither by belonging nor by contract. Pure love is the fruit of two bodies that, free, decide to meet. In a pure relationship there are no rights or obligations, but desires and wills.

Possessiveness or jealousy does not only do terrible damage to the one who suffers it, but usually ends up destroying the relationship. Whoever feels like the owner of another is so worried about not losing him that he forgets that the best solution so that he does not leave is to win him every day. Possessiveness is allied with fear to bring out the worst in people.

"While you worry about whether he loves you or does not love you, you're carrying the flower,"

"In a pure relationship there are no rights or obligations, but desires and wills."

Another curious case within the stupidity of fearing happiness, is that of someone who does not even begin with fear of the end or who, directly, inflicts his own damage so that no one else will do it. Taking someone from your side for fear of losing you is like shooting yourself for fear of dying. That the fear of losing him does not take away the luck of 'having him'. Do not be afraid to lose, accept that nothing is yours and that there are no possessions but experiences and opportunities

You can not enjoy what we can not give up. Therefore, learn to live without getting attached, without needing ... Not demanding, preferring, enjoying. Do not be afraid to lose, because nothing is yours, fear not to enjoy the countless riches that we have. Do not have a friend, live a friendship; do not have a boyfriend, enjoy the courtship; do not have anything, experience everything. ...

Great post and timely. I sent most of the past three years wallowing in disappointment. Eventually it came to be that I understood that most of it was my reaction, and that each moment in and of itself has something to teach me. And that had little to do with what I 'owned.' After a lot of cutting out people and exposing myself to circumstances all of a sudden those happy moments became more prevalent than disappointing ones. Maybe it was because I stopped attaching so much to it and just let it be. Eventually it led to a place of allowing others to give me feedback on my words and actions in order to be open to the idea of improving myself (for real) and letting myself be happy.

I just got back from a meeting with my business mentor who continues to open doors left and right into my consciousness. He has never once given me anything but his time and presence, and it's one of the coolest relationships I've had in a very long time. Pretty cool stuff and I couldn't agree more on all you've stated. Big thanks and true words!!

When it seems that no one is concerned and loved you, remember that our God is always there to give us hope to live for. He has a great plan for us, all we need is to take time to listen and follow His commandments.
