The main reason for life is not being alone, and It's a small world, after all being irrelevant. When I say family, I can see who's related to me and know how good I feel. When I say society, my imagination runs wild, and the emotion is artificial when compared to family. The true population of my world is family, and society is an imaginary concept, not real.
To me the society is just a concept, and family isn't just about blood or bone. Family is just a subset of the societal main set which I called my own.
Exactly, the real and true population of a man's World is his family. Family is everything. Family is life. Society don't influence and man as much as his family does. Anything could happen to society but a man ceings when anything happens to his family.

Your family is your "true" population of your daily world. Just as there is individual consciousness, there is a family consciousness, which is made up of the consciousness of all of your family members. I believe that is what you are referring to.
Widening the perspective there is also a societal consciousness which is made up of the many various individuals and families in that society. You and your family are part of the society and thereby add your individualities to that society. You impact society and in turn, society impacts you. It's all interwoven.
This , IMO, is why we need greater harmony amongst people and amongst nations. We are all in it together.

Society is simply an aggregate of human beings as well as a common belief system in majority of people's thoughts that devalues the individual or the person who thinks differently.
I do not agree society is imaginary, but I agree that people don't "owe a debt to society" by default or the "concept" as you said.

Every person you meet is a family if you treat him just like your own family member. The love you give him, will force him to give back the same love... Thus family is not members who only share blood relationship but it can be created with peace love and harmony.
We are all One, so we are all One family.
Family should be first priority.... But to crave something good for society as well is the need of the hour....
