How to remain calm during exam time?

in #philosphy4 years ago (edited)

Hello community, today I wanted to write about something very important, as exams are a part of our life, and we must learn how to remain calm and perform well in them:

  • Firstly, prepare from the beginning:

Not being rude, but this is one of the most important steps in order to achieve great results! Yes, you'll achieve great results if you start preparing from the very beginning. Studying and learning everyday gradually decreases the burden of syllabus, and in the mean time develops your interest in discovering more topics regarding the same.

  • Study. But it should be an efficient one.

So, you just started studying about your exams, but you are not able to grasp the knowledge efficiently. You are getting distracted, or feeling stressed or there is something that is not letting you study, then make sure you are in a quiet place, relaxed and make sure you take breaks in between.
These points are key to your goal.

  • Get good sleep.

With good sleep I don't mean sleeping for a long period of time making you lazy, but a 6-8 hours of sleep will definitely make your brain function well. To be precise, you'll remember the materials better and for a longer time.

  • Do Exercise, Yoga.

Your main goal is to perform excellent in the exam, and in the process of preparation you'll find yourself stuck, you'll find yourself vulnerable but you have to stay relaxed, motivated and healthy. And for that exercises, going for a run, playing sports for some time are some great ways to achieve the above points.

  • Finally, try to focus on the positive things.

"I wish I should have revised more."
Thoughts like these may come to you but remember, you have studied from the very beginning and maintained your daily studying/learning rate, so don't worry these thoughts will also go away with time when you'll realize that you've done plenty more than that! So don't put much stress towards these thoughts, instead "I have prepared well for the exam, and I will perform well in the exam". These are boostups for you!! Focus on these and excel in the exam :)
