My parents live out in the country, about a 15 minute drive to any nearby town. They have a decent little bit of land behind the house, and some of it is filled with apple trees, grapevines, and a pretty big garden. Behind that land is a portion of land that has gone unused for quite a while, so after debating for a long time my father built a fence and created a nice area for some livestock. They now have a few cute goats, but he started out with a few cows. I visited my parents one Sunday, and took my camera along to snap a few shots of cows, since I've never really done that. Anyways, those cows were super nice and always happy to see people for some reason. My dad often would spend a little time with then whenever he fed them. I petted this for a little while, and then snapped this photo. It came out pretty depressing, honestly. While in the moment the cows and I were having a good time, once I started editing this one I just felt bad that he was 'trapped' inside this big pen. To be fair, it's a huge area of land for them, and they had plenty of space to freely roam. . . but only within a designated area.

Nice and emotive. I look like that sitting in my office at work most days!
it's giving you the evil eye ;)
Fun fact. I can moo exactly like a cow. It's my party trick.
I'll be waiting for some dtube evidence of this ;)
Just like Mr Brown.
Saludos 🇻🇪
I love the close up of the cows eye, it really shows true honesty. I actually found the black and white kind of fun concept as well because the cows where I'm from are black and white! Its a only a little thing but interesting to know its black on white on black on white !
Thank you! As I mentioned in another comment, I don't often edit black and white shots, but felt like this one needed to be, to draw more attention to the eye.
The editing definitely brings out the emotion of the image. Great work
Thanks man! I don't often go full black and white, but felt like it made it more classic this way.
Man cows are completely underrated. I love those big, sad beasts, and your picture of this poor critter.
Yeah, they remind me of the donkey (I think Benjamin) from Animal Farm (by George Orwell). Sad, slow, and never really changing, ha. Have you read that book?
Really beautiful life with cow, goat, fruit and beautiful trees, I think it's a beautiful and wonderful life especially providing natural life and natural food.
Your manifestation is based on your affection and love, which you own and indicates your humanity and your goodness.
But do not worry, I think these animals were created for our benefit and the service of man. Even if you lived in the wilderness, a wild animal might prey on it like a wolf or a lion.
This is the year of life.
Everyone integrates with each other, thank you dear @aweber
