We moved to Linlithgow 8 months ago, but still we are discovering new places to walk almost every week.
Monday to Friday it is a quiet town with very few dog walkers, mostly we only see smiley, happy tourisrs taking in the sights. Unfortunately at the weekend, especially when the weather is as gorgeous as it was today, there are dog walkers everywhere.
During the week we mainly see labs, grey hounds, and other big, easy going dogs. But at the weekends we only ever see small fluffy dogs, dogs which do not resemble any of the Indian street dogs our two grew up around. Either they see them as another species, or they see them as vulnerable dogs who they can easily assert dominance over. In either case it is not good, and it is best to find a new route as soon as we see the sun come out at the weekend.
Our finding today was a lovely path tucked away in a residential estate. My dream is to live in one of the houses there. @cottonlazarus gives me hope that one day Steemit will help us to achieve that!
