Side Flow

Some of the Waters of Oak Creek are diverted from the main flow by a crack in the bedrock which over time will grow larger. Oak Creek has been cutting its way through solid and fractured rock, some from fault lines for millions of years. There's many places where the creek flows right over smooth bedrock, like the bottom of a swimming pool.

Dang. That's a beauty. Really cool how the water flowing down the channel kind of leads like a path up into the center area with the trees which really draws the eyes in... And then a nice view of what looks like some alpen glow on Cathedral makes this one pretty top notch. Oh, I also love how green the trees are, it hasn't looked like that up there for a while to my knowledge. That area has change a lot and is very overgrown at the end there. So, another historical shot on this one which may not look like that again for a long time if ever. Great work and congrats on the nice upvote!

I agree. I really like this one, the lighting, color and the close up of the rock. Also excellent depth of field. Thanks a lot!

Hello @irvinesimages. A rather beautiful combination of dry and tropical.

Hola @irvinesimages. Una combinación bastante hermosa de lo seco y lo tropical.

Hello jexus77, where there's water there's life.
