This replica of the Pyramid of Giza is made from Oamaru Stone and is the exact dimensions of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. It is even made of limestone(Oamaru Stone) which the great Pyramid was originally coated with. There is one difference though. I split my one at a predetermined level as I had done a lot of research into Pyramid Power and I wanted to test it to see if the claims were true.
I had read that you could basically mummify an egg using a Pyramid by lining it up with the compass so that’s what I did.
I hollowed out a space at the predetermined level so I could fit a small glass bowl inside in which to crack an egg into.
Here is a photo of the inside of the Pyramid where the bowl sits.
I had read that if I cracked an egg and put it into the Pyramid at a certain level up the Pyramid that it would take a couple of weeks to mummify and that no bugs or insects would go near it while it was in the Pyramid and that it wouldn’t go mouldy over those 2 weeks.
It is quite a claim and a bit unbelievable but the theory came from the fact that when the Giza Pyramid was originally entered, the explorers had found fruit inside that looked preserved.
The theory with the egg said that it would eventually look glassy and that afterwards if you dropped it on a hard surface, the egg would shatter like glass.
It also said you could poach it in boiling water and it would still be good to eat and once cooked would look and taste like a normal poached egg.
Well I went ahead with the experiment and it worked!
It also looked like glass and shattered like glass when I dropped it. It was amazing!
Cool sculpture and cool story man! Thanks for sharing!
I will repeat the egg experiment in future and take photos along the journey so everyone can see the progress and results of the process. Keep your eyes peeled for that post, I’m sure you will be amazed. If you google “Pyramid power” I’m sure there will be information out there on the subject if you are interested in learning more about it. Apparently you don’t even need a solid Pyramid. It can even be done with a wire frame Pyramid as long as the angles and dimensions of the Pyramid are the same as the Giza pyramid and as long as you place the egg at the correct level and line it up with a compass.
It's beautiful what you do, I do not know the theory of the pyramid, but I found your post interesting and enigmatic.
Thanks Marie. I will repeat the egg experiment in the future and take photos along the way and then do another post about it
very cool again, you will do great here. you need to get out and meet people and make some connections. you have some great stuff.
You have been resteemed as part of #newbieresteemday ... I made today my #newbieresteemday, and invite you and others to do the same. To learn more: Come Join Us!!! (Newbie Resteem Initiative)
Thank you very much @ilovepoorpeople I am trying to make connections with people but I haven’t even been on the platform for 2 weeks yet. If you have any advice on good people to follow or good things to take part in it would be very helpful. Thank you
You are doing great then because it takes time. One place is to follow all the people that are in a place you like and are making comments (especially if you like their comments). You don't have to ask them to follow you, many will do the same thing and follow you back out of respect.
Another place to meet people is by making comments on others' works like art, photography, music, or stories/writers. You tend to find people that are like you and follow you when you have something in common with them. So go to a post and read it well and then make a good sincere comment about it. And use your personality too. If you are yourself, you will make friends.
Finally you should enter the contests that are out there (I will give you a link to one below)... by doing the contests, you get noticed by the authors and the other readers. And you can give other dommenters comments too. Its like starting a conversation in person.
Here is the link below to @danielsaori's contest with #newbieresteemday initiative ... Ohh you should also check out that link, there are many others that will also resteem your posts. We want you to grow, so you can help others soon!
