In a directive sent to all mobile phone operators of the country on Tuesday, the BTRC said that if the subscriber does not deactivate additional SIM during the period, the commission will then cancel and close their registrations through the respective operators according to their decision.
In that case, the notice that has been warned that the customer's SIM may be stopped. Earlier, the decision was taken to send a maximum number of 20 SIMs against the national identity card, postal and telecommunication division. Before that, more than five SIM registration was banned. After reviewing the decision, the BTRC gave the opportunity to keep the maximum 15 sim or rim per customer on October 24.
According to BTRC's instructions sent to the operators on Sunday (December 4th), the subscriber has now been assigned the highest number of SIM / RIM (inclusive of all operators) number 15 as per postpaid, pre-paid subscriber. Additional SIM / RIM of 15 are considered illegal. For the corporate customer, this limit is not realistic, for the organization only, the person who has the point of contact for buying the SIM / RIM for that organization will be without the highest limit.
It has been said that among the existing subscribers, more than 15 SIM / RIM users are requested to disassociate their connections by self-initiated mobile operators at their own customer care center on December 31. BTRC has also given the opportunity to know how many SIMs have any SIM cards against their national ID / passport / driving license / birth registration certificate
