6. The General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge, or locally known as the bridge over Lake Maracaibo, is the largest concrete and reinforced concrete bridge in the world of its kind, and number 52 in the world. The bridge was built between 1957 and 1962 with 135 sections, 20,000 tons of rods and is 45 meters high.

7. Venezuela was the world's largest oil exporter in the 20th century.

8. Venezuela is in the eighth position among the countries with the largest reserve of natural gas, and first in Latin America, according to PDVSA for 2014.

9. Lake Maracaibo is the largest in Latin America, with an area of  between 13,210 and 13,820 km². Among the largest lakes in the world, it is ranked 19th.

11. It has the largest proved reserves of oil in the world, with more than 513 billion barrels of oil (Year 2013).

12. The Central Park towers were the largest skyscrapers in Latin America. Venezuela is the sixth country with the most skyscrapers in Latin America with six buildings located in Caracas.

13. The Parima-Tapirapeco National Park, together with the Canaima National Park, are the largest national parks in the world.

14. The largest and heaviest snake in the world, originally from Venezuela and living in the basins of the rivers of the Orinoco and other South American countries, is the Anaconda del Orinoco.
