You are correct, the living price in Liechtenstein is very high, they use the Swiss franc as currency, and as it is a very small country it also is very expensive.

Yes you can! There is an amazing voluntary project now in France. Where one investor bought the land and people volunteer to help build a castle on it. The people gain knowledge of past building techniques since there are no motorized vehicles or electronics allowed. The lumberjack drives his horses into the woods and cuts the trees used for lumber by hand. The blacksmith makes the tools, and the stone and clay is gained from the nearby quarry. The blue and red is Standard of the Government of Liechtenstein.
