I saw it at the Cinema back then, in my high school days, and although the human drama was very boring to me back then ... those short alien effects were amazing ... and when I saw it in the even more real version, here on the common unremarkable cabbages ... hehe, well, was even more amazing ... Cabbage Vs Hollywood - 1 : 0 ...

... this interesting and very peculiar looking cicada relative accidentally jumped in the bubble right before my eyes while I was photographing just another droplet ... and was trapped ...it was an amazing surprise ... never saw it before ... or since ... a bit later I got him out of this trouble ... but first I had to photograph this strange Jewell ... it was a bit like a fossil in the amber ... and meanwhile ...

That insect inside the drop is amazing!
I have some shots of cabbage leaves with drops. Its like some liquid metal gliding on a non-stick surface. Pretty cool!

And the partridge was watching you....

Yes, that insect was a cool surprise, just jumped in seemingly out of nowhere and enhanced the photograph ... true, when on a cabbage leaf, the water looks very much like liquid metal.

These photos are really summer adventures such as drop of water, insect and bird. I enjoy it so much.

We must be from the same era. I remember The Abyss from high school too. Those are wonderful water drop shots. I have been taking them nonstop for months every time it rains. I don't have any cabbage though, so no Abyss shots. The ones with the dirt inside them are especially cool. And the bug! What a moment to be standing there!

:) Relics from the same era. I'm eternally grateful to that bug that jumped in and made the picture interesting.

Are we really old enough to be relics? Ha ha.
