The sleepy village of Nan in northern Thailand bursts into life during this fireworks festival, prompting one spectator to throw out their arms with joy.
Israel
Jerusalem kicks off Independence Day with a ceremony at Mount Herzl, Israel’s national cemetery. A somber mood soon turns celebratory as the city erupts with parties, concerts, and fireworks.
