Animal abuse affects most of the people that inhabit this planet. The news that shows us how the poachers kill many species without remorse, are quite rude. Very often I have seen news of how it announces the extinction of a species. But always among all these bad news, there is one that is really good and returns hope in humanity and paints a big smile on your face.
I am sure that this image will make them smile immediately, just like this man has while holding the gorilla in a car. This story is hard but with a happy ending for the animal rescued. a gorilla from a Cameroon sanctuary, had been captured and was going to be sold for bushmeat, but, fortunately, she could be rescued by the organization Ape Action Africa. The photograph was taken when the primate was being moved from his former enclosure to a new and larger one, along with a group of companions. First she was sedated, but during the transfer she woke up. Fortunately, not only was she very sleepy, but she was also in the arms of her caregiver, Appolinaire Ndohoudou, so she remained calm throughout the bumpy ride. How the animal is grabbed is touching.
This image turned out to be the winner of the image of the year, in the contest organized by the Museum of Natural History of London.
