It has been a LOOOOONG time since Iโve been on Steemit ๐ Life (and especially work) had gotten so hectic that I had to drop off social media for a bitโฆ
Nonetheless, it is now 2018 and thus a new start to a year ๐ Letโs see if I can manage my work load a little better this year and thus hopefully have a little more time to spend on Steemit again ๐๐ป
As you can see, it is still school holidays here in South Africa. The kids still get to sleep in whilst us adults have to get back into the swing of things at work ๐ All I can do is reminisce over those care-free days as a kid... If they only knew now how much responsibility they will be taking on as adults, I'm sure they'd appreciate their childhood even more. But, as we know, they definitely don't see or understand that perspective yet - and that, well, is life ๐

Remarkable , I am retirement material , and still waiting to grow up to see what I want to be! Was at the shops today , saw some parents at the supermarket with young kids, I said " You do know they are no longer taking children as trade-ins for Goods?" Some people have no sense of humour!

We did @cheeto-blue, despite falling victim to housebreaking for the 1st time in 10 years! Thought we were immune to it, but only lost a laptop & TV as the alarms were ringing - not the Christmas bells :) Armed response were speedy!

It was extremely bad timing, the Grinch of Christmas paid us a visit, but typically South African, we did not let that spoil our fun :):)
