3 x 3 Polaroids

Very imaginative title, don't we think?

I remembered I own a Instax Mini polaroid camera that I haven't used in ages. I had all of nine frames left on it and I decided to make good use of them.

I wanted to take some really relaxed afternoon portraits, not fuzz about with makeup, hair, clothes etc. This is also the only time I ever use a flash. I have actually NEVER used the flash on my Nikon D7200, I prefer available light. I do feel like the flash does suit polaroids pretty well and I always tone it down a little so it isn't too harsh.

I already ordered a big pack more of Instax film, if you wish to see more polaroid pictures of me. Let me know if you have any suggestions/wishes. I will definitely not promise to grant them.

Sort:

Chemical precursors, brownian motion frozen in the fine grain.

Strobe-lit intensity on past lives, passed time.

Justify, demand. Frozen eyes, future-focused.

Until the final pulse dims.

Latent emotion in fading dyes.

Best intentions trapped in plastic purgatory.

Lovely shoot to say the least

Thank you Jeff! :)

No problem Eve! Someday if I ever figure out my Nikon I want to shoot you ;)

Maybe you could pick up that thing you dropped on the floor.

What might that be?

I can't see it from here but if you bend over you could tell me what it is😉

Not trying to be too romantic - but I just absolutel love the butt pic from the top row (the middle pic obv) :)

Coming to my wish: Make a picture like the one above here: https://steemit.com/nature/@theaustrianguy/a-beautiful-sunday-hike-to-the-laudachsee - Ok, that was a cheap one :P

But really, keep up the work - greets from Austria!

:-D

I am from Austria too - Hallo :-)

I'm not entirely sure how to say this is good photography without being conflicted with my wife so... I'll go with this.

My wife has loved the photos I've shown her of @eveuncovered so luckily, I don't have to get into a conflict with her by commenting. :D

Aww, say hi to your wife!

Oh I will :)

Haha, I think that already tells enough! :D

very vintage and beautiful! How much time did you have between pressing the shutter and the photo being taken? just curious :)

Thanks! Hmm, I'd reckon something like 6-10 seconds, Instax has a pretty long self timer, which I appreciate.

Right. Pretty amazing what you are able to pull off in that time-span.
Keep up the good work! It's clear you enjoy what you do :)

Репостну красотку :))

Абсолютно согласен с тобой ! Красавица )

Excellent post

I am also photographer but this is amazing.hat's up to you.

Thank you fellow photographer :)

Great imagination! Cheers amiga!

No grande finale?

Would be nice to draw you ;-)

Do I have to stay still for that? ;D

Yes of course, I wanna draw you! :-)

this looks nice

Awesome! I love polaroids! These are great, and I love how you presented them on a white background with chipping paint.. it complements polaroids I think :) definitely do more polaroids, they're fun.

Thanks! The chipped paint wasn't actually a creative decision, but turned out to work really well for these! :)

great work, the way you presenting yourself is creative gal!

Thank you very much! :)

You are so cute it hurts! 💗

Awwww thank you so much, you're always so sweet! :)

These are great, and really cute @eveuncovered. I've never done it myself but the guy I learned from, my mentor Jim, told me if you hunt online you can buy expired Instax and Polaroid film. When the photos are developed they do crazy things because the chemicals have either dried or ran in to one another. I'll try digging up a few links and send them to you, but that would be really cool if you like exploring the instant film stuff.

Oh that sounds really interesting! Do send me links if you find some :) And thank you so much, I always appreciate when you take the time to leave a comment.

Nice to see pictures from polaroid. That instant photos were nice. There were photos that will mean something in time.
As todays hundreds of daily photos we can lose so many moments because they are too many.
10-20 instant photos per year, could make us a nice overview of that year.

Beautiful post! Not just the photos, real gems by the way... I love this whole presentation on this weathered down surface.. very contemporary.

Thank you for stepping by and commenting on my "LadySkates". Looks like I'll have to come back here to take a closer look, when I'm home from my studio :-)

Well hello and welcome, hope you enjoy the rest of my pictures too! :)

I must go and try Polaroids too :) Have you try B&W Polaroids. I think they look more good :)

I'd prefer the B&W ones but they don't make any for the Instax Mini :(

OK :) I hope one day make :)

The pics are amazing, you are incredibly beautiful and your smart and witty...
The next millionaire on Steemit is known!

I have a camera like that too, but my booty isn't half as nice. Hey, would you please not promise to make some that include chocolate syrup? Surely you can not promise me that, pretty please.

this is wonderful series
