Some pictures from my Sunday trip to Chandragiri Hills.
1st and 2nd pictures were clicked while descending to the bottom station. The ride starts from 1564 meters to 2520 meters altitude. Distance between the stations is 2.5 km and riding duration is about 9 minutes from bottom to the top.
3rd picture was clicked at the top station overlooking beautiful but polluted Kathmandu valley, the capital of Nepal.
4th picture is of Chandragiri Hills Resort and you can see Helipad there too. Maybe someday I would afford to go there by helicopter. And oh yes, don’t forget how much dust you can see in the valley.
5th and 6th picture is the vicinity around Chandragiri Hills. You can see two mountains from here: Gaurishankar mountain and the mighty Everest.
7th and 8th picture is of dense Chandragiri forest.
