Pheasant on the roof

This feels like it could be a metaphor for something, but I'm not quite sure what.

We live close enough to the country for this to not be totally surprising, but we're also still townie/city people at heart so we make it remarkable.

I suppose it reminds me of the Pelican on a bicycle benchmark for LLM-created images. An LLM that created an image with a chimney looking like that and a TV aerial as well might score highly but the overall composition is far from anything that a machine would currently make. I mean why would you put the pheasant behind the aerial.

I've just noticed also that there's a pigeon sitting on the aerial. I wonder if the pheasant noticed too?

Sort:

Don't go plucking that pheasant! We see some around here, but then we are close to fields.

Hope things are good with you.

I am not a pheasant plucker... etc :D

Things here are good thanks, first frost of the season makes it feel quite Christmassy today.

Definitely feeling a little crispy, but not seen a frost here yet.
