in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Hi Steemians.... Eagle is one of the old predators on earth, All species of falcon belong to the order of Falconiformes (or Accipitriformes). Almost all meat eaters Falconiformes (carnivores).

These predators, very much found throughout the world, with several different species, I will post in the future to other species.

This is the eagle "Japanese Sparrowhawk (Accipiter gularis)" They are mostly found on the fringes of the forest, even sometimes in urban areas, and villages, to search for prey.

While for the distribution area, It breeds in China, Japan, Korea and Siberia; winters in Indonesia and Philippines, passing through the rest of South-east Asia. It is a bird of open and wooded areas.

The Japanese sparrowhawk (Accipiter gularis) is a bird of prey in the family Accipitridae which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as eagles, buzzards and harriers.

Here are some pictures I took in the forests of Aceh, while he preyed on mice in dry wood, You can see how he preys. Extraordinary.
