Queste foto che vedete le ho scattate ad Acicastello (CT).
Un primo castello fu edificato nel VII secolo dai bizantini su di una preesistente fortificazione di periodo romano ed è eretto su una colata lavica risalente al periodo preistorico!
Le tante dominazioni che si sono susseguite hanno sempre puntato sulla costruzione in oggetto ritenendola, giustamente, fondamentale dal punto di vista strategico.
Questa è una delle tante bellezze che vi invito a visitare.

A first castle was built in the seventh century by the Byzantines on a pre-existing fortification from the Roman period and is erected on a lava flow dating back to the prehistoric period!
The many dominations that followed have always focused on the construction in question, rightly considering it fundamental from a strategic point of view.
