Today saw a festive fall of snow for our trip to the Quad gallery in Derby for lunch, and to see the beautiful 'Kimchi and Chips' 'Line Segments Space' installation.

My husband Dan, and our friends Greg and Steve enjoyed dishes from the vegan menu at Quad, before watching a 20 minute film about the installations that Kimchi and Chips produce.

Kimchi and Chips are described on their website as: 'a Seoul based art studio founded by Elliot Woods (UK) and Mimi Son (South Korea). The studio creates actions which superimpose material and immaterial modes of existence, suggesting new technical and artistic attitudes. These actions actualise fictional realities as physical experiences, often employing digital light and computation to manipulate physical space.'

We all enjoyed the creativity and execution of this installation, and would recommend viewing it if you get the chance.
