For a very long time I have dreamt of having my own garden. I am sure that one day I will still fulfil my dream, I will have my place on earth.
My garden. I will be able to dedicate myself to flowers, fruit, vegetables. To have an oasis, a place where I can escape from the whole world. Dreams are made to come true. I will certainly make mine come true one day. For the time being, my eyes enjoy the terrace.
It's not big, I can't plant strawberries, raspberries or beetroot there. But I can create the atmosphere I want, I can relax here, have a coffee with my husband or talk to my daughter.
And the dog, too, has felt freedom in his old age, and seems to be happy.
It started with two plastic chairs and a cardboard box that served as a table.
Everything takes time. i often feel that the more it takes to decorate 'your place', the more satisfaction we get from the end result.
I am happy with my flowers, which are blooming beautifully. I am happy with my mint, which is so useful in the kitchen, especially now in summer for lemonade.
Every new thing on the terrace gives me great joy and a sense of achievement.
This is not yet the end result I want to achieve. However, I can confidently write that my goal is getting closer.
