In today's post I would like to show you a nicer side of Alberta. Summer is short but nature is amazing at that time.
And I don't want you to feel bad for us who live here.
It's also a green Thursday color challenge so these photos will fit well.
Lake Moraine doesn't need an introduction.
These stone stairs are just nearby, but only few can see their artistic value.

Catch the rainbow from the prairies.
A different view of the lake. Beautiful, but you don't want to go there without a good repellent. Mosquitos are starving.

The first one makes me want to travel badly. Mountains, forest and the lake.
Another nice collection. I absolutely love the dock on the lake picture. Makes me want to get my boat out right now and hit the lake for some fishing. I also enjoyed the two sheds. Such a great shot and our eyes are drawn to the two sheds making the rest of the picture feel even more vast.

Wow. It's easy to think of Canada as like a big snowy mess, but you're right, there's really no reason to feel bad for you. It's beautiful. Hard to find scenery like that in warmer weather climates.
In some ways I feel the cold is kind of like nature's defense mechanism to keep it relatively untouched :p
All of these images are so good, the one with the rainbow is my favourite I think, it looks like such a lovely place to explore!
Lake Moraine with the trees, mountains and clouds looks magical. Another great collection so nicely green in the summertime... ending with a beautiful sunset sky!
