I never hear about this place in my life. Just booked a room on Airbnb and set the location on car's navigation.
We find a house spot on. For an oldtimer, it's not easy to keep up with technology but I'm learning on the way. So here we are. Took a walk through the village, get some new shots for you and drinked a beer or two.
Locals are very nice and friendly. They try to help and answer every question. The only problem is, they don't understand English and I don't understand French.
I was buying ham showing five fingers and almost bought 5 kilos of cooked ham instead 0,5. Try to explain a middle age lady zero point five.
But anyway. Here are some photos for you to get the impression how it looks like. Enjoy.

Bright colors of doors and windows.

The coat-of-arms of the village.

A nice little house.

The main street.

Speechless.

An old lady invites us to admire her old house.

The olive trees are common here. Probably they grow them in the fields for olives too.

Birdwatch.

A neighbouring village.

Blooming pear tree.

French blue over the church.

Honey time.

For me is summer here; 27 degrees C. I'm sweating.
The pool is great but the water is still too cold even for the frozen Albertan.
That's all for today, my friends. I already booked our next place.
It's funny here in Europe. One tank of gasoline and you reach a new country. In Canada, I can't even get to the next province on one tank. But the price of gas is crazy here.
If I'll get a decent internet connection tomorrow I'll show you some new stuff.
See you soon.
How's French weather like?
Wow, the village is so lovely. Tiny and neat, seems to me like one of those villages where everyone is in everyone's business because it's small and they know each other. Lol
Yes, wonderful place. THX :)
Those 5 kils of ham would last for a loong time. :) Beautiful, really nice to see nature waking up with summer like weather!
Indeed I'm planning to go on a long road trip this year threw Europe, luckly I can do over 1300km on one tank.
Steem on buddy! :)
Just gorgeous. Love that cat on the window lol. Oh this is smth i wouldnt mind seeing at all....so pretty.
Its looks really nice. Full of nature beauty and very peaceful also. The best part is the natural sunlight.
Traveling to places you have not been too is education on it own and the memories will forever remain fresh.

Beautiful photos friend
You traveling and make a good memory use your camera.
great photoshot man i think you more memories share to us.
What a beautiful spot you picked. I love the shutters and all the stone buildings. Other than the language barrier it truly looks like paradise!
Did you see the cat?
Ha ha... now I do! So cute checking out what’s happening on the street. He blends nicely with the shutters!
Your village is very beautiful. All the places are neat and clean.
A very memorable trip, not understanding the language they talked about but they are very kind and friendly, I am deeply moved to read this post, as if I were around them. Visible photography is very beautiful and clean with the view there, hopefully your trip always please friend @oldtimer.
Yes, sometimes it's really difficult to travel where we face the issue of language barriers but in my opinion that's more interesting because these are the places where we can communicate more in an artistic way because at these type of places we should behave more ancient. And all these pictures are breathtaking and admirable and i can say one thing for sure and that is, this place is reflecting as an place of great painters because all these pictures are throwing the essence of art. Thanks for sharing and introducing this beautiful place with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂
exquisite
Lolz the miscommunication ;)
While liked the images they are indeed very great .
The flower image at the gate looks real beautiful and the old house is indeed a beauty to look at !
You sure had a great time my man !
This is an amazing find (and trip) @oldtimer. I have visited often Grimaud (near S. Tropez) and St. Remy a couple of times down there, but never heard of Forcalqueiret. The picture of her old house (with railing shadows) is a postcard! Do yo know the circa of the church? I recall they are quite old down there (the church in Grimaud is around 11th century).
Beautiful photography and I love the place.
Thank you so much for sharing, I love photography of places like this and nature. It looks so peaceful.
Thats an amazing view,i know its hard to get a perfect picture like this as i too post photography post sometimes.
Looks even better than Barcelona! Have a nice trip.
It's incomparable. Relaxing. Like oranges and apples. But Barcelona was great, no doubt.
Ahh that wisteria, it would inspire speechlessness. Looks like a lovely trip.
Simpatična anegdota, sporazumevanje sa Francuzima. :)
Trying to think of what I would do with 5kgs of ham... Your trip looks amazing. Now I get to keep living vicariously though you. You’re giving me the travel bug again. I love France. So much fun.
Amazing pictures. I have been enjoying watching your travels from afar. I am so envious of your trip. You will be happy to know you will be coming home to warm temperatures. Spring finally decided to show up. We used airbnb once to rent a house on the ocean in Halifax. It was amazing. I'm a big fan of airbnb.
That place is somehow heaven i would love to live there.
Love the way you look at buildings and architecture. The photos are nice.. Love the main street shot too
Stunning photos!! I love that the wisteria is is blooming! It looks like a beautiful village.
