The Multicolored Sunset.

Do you like sunsets?. Do you feel it as a special moment? Me too, is just the gap between day and night. A gap in time that makes us feel nostalgic, ephemeral, isn't it true?.

I want to share a couple of photos that I have taken in different years and places.

In early civilizations, such as the Egyptian culture, it was believed that the sun died at sunset, and rituals existed to awaken or revive the sun from its daily death.

The god Atum was identified with the setting sun and showed himself as an old figure who had to regenerate during the night, to appear as Khepri at dawn and as Re at the zenith of the sun. Pharaoh Akhenaten, 1,350 BC, imposed one of the first monotheistic religions, with Aton (the Sun) being the only god.

It's a game of colors and shapes that never repeated. It's a time that seems to extend, but it's really so short. It is an event that reminds us of the wonderful world in which we live.

We all love sunsets, but many times we don't have time to enjoy it. Busy in day to day we forget the wonderful natural events that God gives us.
