Garden Color

in #photography9 years ago

This one isn't selective color. I thought these deep purple flowers amongst these creamy leaves was a really interesting contrast. The gardener probably thought so too!

I want to call this a cheerleader flower.

I really liked the variety and combination of colors in this scene. The beautiful central flower next to her budding hopeful little brother was interesting to me too.

Absolutely stunning shots capturing the deep vibrant colors of each beautiful flower. Nice focus. Especially the third resembling a lion's feature with violet purple outlines. Looking forward to your next post, this will inspire some new poetry from me. Thanks for sharing, upvoted and now following

Nice. The cheerleader flower one is perfect:

I love the geometric shapes and the bokeh in this one.

Yes, the soft 'halo effects of the cheerleader are wonderful.

Out of curiosity I looked to see if there was a definition for 'halo effect' and it means: A cognitive bias in which an observer's overall impression of a person, company, brand, or product influences the observer's feelings and thoughts about that entity's character or properties. It was named by psychologist Edward Thorndike in reference to a person being perceived as having a halo. Subsequent researchers have studied it in relation to attractiveness and its bearing on the judicial and educational systems. ~Wiki.

Beautiful images. Especially am drawn to the purple and silver. Love the variety of plants you have grouped together here.

Thank you for all your kind words :)

Pleasure. I'm not really a wordy sort of person. But for some reason, I'm finding words flow more freely for me at Steemit.

I love those pretty garden deep purple flowers. Interesting. Resteemed as well.
