Pomerania Trip #4 - The Gallery

in #photography3 months ago

Hi Friends!

Because all was said in my previous posts about this place and this photo session I will focus in this part on photographs.

To give You the full spectrum of beauty I found in the Jar Reknica gorge I will post here selection of different shots taken there on the second day of exploration.

And of course, if You haven't seen the shots I already posted - take a look at previous galleries - it is worth it because in my opinion it is one of the best places in Poland I discovered last year :).

Here is the gallery - no comments needed I think :) :

And about the plans for the rest of this photographic trip to Pomerania region - later this day I decided to leave woodland areas and headed towards the coast.

I found a potential interesting village called Oslonino where I planned to spend a night and the next day explore the cliffs and the beach. After this exploration I packed myself in the car and drove to Oslonino where I reached the final location later in the afternoon - it was already sunset time, the light and colors were magical but this part I will share in my next post :).

Thank You for watching and reading!

Take care!

Hi,
Thanks for sharing this serie with us :)

I was wondering about the settings you chose here.

Keep up with the nice work!

Hi, sorry for late answer - hard to say about uniwersal settings - I was trying to get the correct exposure watching for the light not to be "burned" to white.
For the water I was trying to get longer exposure times like 1/2-2 sec - to get this I had to close my aperture to f/16 f/20 sometimes. I always try to shoot with the lowest possible ISO which in this case was ISO100. White balance I always keep manual (cloudy day/clouds) so my shots will have the same color temperature every time plus such cloudy WB is giving me nice, warm tones.
I think that is it about the settings :).
Maybe one more thing - when I am shooting longer exposure times I always use tripod and 2 seconds delay for shutter release. Optical stabilization: OFF.

Never mind for the reply delay and thanks a lot for giving details about your process :)
I was a bit confused as you used the term "full spectrum" in your description but I know now you're working with a regular camera (not a full spectrum one).
Do you edit your pictures or not?
