I could have won the big price in lotto - but sadly enough I didn't!
But something almost just as rarely happened to me!
I started the day doing something I always do, brewing coffee. While the coffee took it's time to finish, I stood by the window looking out to check the weather situation (the old school way, not on an App) - it was a sad grayish Wednesday.
A lovely smell of fresh coffee was filling the apartment and I went over to the coffee machine;
It was time for the first cup of coffee!
I decided to take my coffee with me outside, on the porch.
Halfway out and I got a hunch about taking my camera with me - so out with my coffee cup and in again, after the camera.
I was barely finished outside, parking my wheelchair when I spotted something in the sky - It looked huge!
Maybe it was one of Daenerys Targaryen dragons!
But there was no doubt about what it was when it got closer - it was an eagle!
I will post some more pictures of the eagle at the end of my post - sadly enough was the weather so gray!
I was stunned of amazement - an eagle where I live! (it happens once a year if the luck is on your side).
I had completely forgotten about my coffee, so I put down the camera and took a mouthful cold coffee.
Cold coffee - well... it's better than no coffee!
I just couldn't believe what just happened - wow!
But then, as I sat there dreaming about what just happened, I again spotted something - this time on the wall!
A mother snail with its little baby snail - how cute!
The first picture taken was taken with flash - I'm not sure if a snail can see anything, but when the flash went off, the tiny baby snail hurried into mother snail!
What a fantastic day - let more like this come soon again.
