When I see these photographs I want to go back to Africa.

It's was only januari that I visited Africa for the last time. But the continent is so big, actually the biggest of the world, and there is so much to explore... I really want to go back soon! Have you been?

Orange river in Richtersveld Transfrontier Park (Namibia-South Africa)

This is the landscape at the Namibian-South African frontier. Nowhere the skyes are so colourful than in arid places. We slept right next to the river and next morning we found leopard and water varanus footprints. Orange river in Richtersveld Transfrontier Park (Namibia-South Africa)

God's Window (Mpumalanga, South Africa)

Pretty close to Kruger National Park (mostly arid and full of thorny bushes), you have the very tropical alike Drakensberg mountains. This place is not far from Graskop, and from here you can watch the lowveld 900 m under your feet, surrounded by exotic mountainous tropical flora. Breathtaking. Fence Friday ~ Cape Town edition

By: Irene2005
This is an old one - South Africa, 2005. I never considered it to be a fence shot, but then Sonora Guy, who knows a thing or two about fences, told me that it is. And I can't be picky, considering I always struggle to find any fences around here. So I am adding it to *fence Friday* - if you disagree, you can complain to <a href="http://www. flickr Fence Friday ~ Cape Town edition

Poffadder in Goegap Nature Reserve (Namakwaland, South Africa)

By: Javier Ábalos Álvarez
A classic encounter in the Succulent Karoo. I spent quite a long time at less than a meter from her, first building a small sandtower for my headlight, and then laying in the ground and taking a real avalanche of pictures! I could see my girlfriends headlight in the distance, and she was terrorized of encountering snakes, so I told her to come cause there was something she would love. It worked: close meeting and friends forever. Poffadder in Goegap Nature Reserve (Namakwaland, South Africa)

Cool Pictures. Do you think steem and bitcoin will be helpful for Africans and there ability to have accesses to stable currencies?

@joelinux I'm not sure I think it could certainly help, but I'm not sure if we can talk about 'stable' currencies at the moment... The markets are quite volatile... Actually you could read @beervangeer 's post https://steemit.com/steemit/@beervangeer/what-when-steemit-hits-african-countries where he elaborates about this...

Nice pictures. You have some talent there. Love the Ostrich, those birds can be kinda scary up close.

EDIT: Looks like you just collected the pictures.. oh well, still very nice to look at. Someday I will go.

Yes, that's what I said... I collected them from Flickr... If you want to peek at my flickr posts you can check this post about a recent roadtrip I had in the USA: https://steemit.com/photography/@roelandp/roadtripping-california-own-work-oc

Im gonna put up some of my original African pics sometime - it is truely an amazing place - go support it here https://steemit.com/africa/@gord0b/likeafrica-african-or-africant
