I went by Golden Pond tonight, and was again rewarded by a special sunset.
I was blessed with a pair of Canadian Geese, and a pair of Mallard Ducks; who were also enjoying the pond.
They greeted me on shore:
Then they headed for the water:
They were very calm, and quiet:
The ducks just swam off:
But the real star was the pond, and the sunset:
This place draws me:
The reflection in the pond that was glass smooth:
Spring is coming, and flowers are blooming:
I am hoping these guys stay this year. I think they are the mated pair that was here last year!
I stayed long enough to get a picture of the Moon, and Venus:

I am recharged, and the Geese didn't seem to mind:
All in all, a good day! Hope you enjoyed the pond too...so wonderfully quiet there.
right right..like all wildlife and domestic animals they ran away as soon as they saw you.
They were nice to look at, and didn't seem too worried. This is the same pair that was here last year.

They went over to the same nesting spot....
They mate for life, and they are prone to return to their "Summer home"!

They think it is as nice as I do, LOL! I hope they keep coming back every year. I am seeing fish roll there now, so the pond is healthy.

How cool is that? I love the almost ominous look of the clouds in some of the images also. I bet it was dead quiet out there!
I love this place, it is my Oasis. The clouds are what drew me in, the Geese were a nice surprise, I think this is the same pair that nested here last year.
With zero wind and quiet Geese; it was silent, and invigorating!
