Hello guys... How are you to night !!!

The view you see here is one of the areas where fish landings or Aceh province people are referred to as TPI Pusong which is located right east side of the center of Lhokseumawe City, Aceh.

The location is also very strategic which is directly connected to the high seas, when a boat or fishing boat returns from the sea after catching fish they must enter this estuary or the Acehnese people mention Kuala.

The location of more than 2 hectares is used by the communities around Lhokseumawe City to land their catch after operating from the sea for one week. Fish obtained from the sea are landed through this route. Because this route is a very busy alternative route for sea transportation.

The entrance and exit of fishing boats

Besides the estuary is used by the local fishing community as a fishing landing place, but some people from Lhokseumawe City also use the edge of the estuary as a fishing spot, anglers arrive when their free time is fishing, because small fish always play at the end of the stone estuary.

At the edge of the TPI Pusong beach, there are many types of reef fish such as grouper, jeunèha, mierah eye, sardent, and other reef fishes that are very difficult to catch with trawlers but they are very easy to catch with fishing rods.

The bustle of fish anglers will be seen when the fishing rod is pulled by the small fish on the hook, and this is even more exciting when the tide goes up. When the tide rises, warm water coming from the high seas will come so that the reef fish that originally dwelled in the rocks will immediately come out to breathe the warmth of the new warm water, then when it becomes a big opportunity for anglers to catch it very easily.

Become a fishing area

In addition to being an arena for fishing for reef fish for the community, also to the west there is the Pusong Reservoir located very close to TPI Pusong but the water in the Reservoir is very shallow whose size is different from the water in the estuary. This is a very good moment for the fishermen on the mainland, because they can catch small fish in the reservoir area. While fishing gear used by mainland fishermen is trawl brackets or the Acehnese call Jeuu this trawl trawler model is like a cloth roll that can be dropped into water, if the trawl is dropped into the water then small fish will be simultaneously trapped inside.

Keasi's main land fishermen in trapping small fish such as tilapia, seungko, giant shrimp, grouper and shrimp, and other small fishes, become one of the most beautiful photography displays, especially when your photo is freezing a trawler being thrown into the water so that there is very beautiful moments and attract the attention of people when passing through it.

Source of livelihood of mainland fishermen

The estuary of TPI Pusong and Pusong Reservoir are one of the locations that are highly desired by the people of Lhokseumawe city who have professions as fishermen, both onshore fishermen, casual fishermen, and seasonal fishermen. Then in addition to being a good land to look for fortune can also make you eliminate turmoil when visiting the area.

You can also invite your family to visit the area because the location is very beautiful and comfortable when in it, I personally also visit the area very often and even many of my photography collections in the area especially when the sun is out and the sunrise.

Estuary

Then there are also many scenery lovers who often freeze the atmosphere of the sun rising and setting on the horizon. In 2017 one of the Lhokseumawe City residents won his photography contest in a competition organized by the provincial team for sunset and he won first place in the race with the theme Sunset on the coast of Pusong.

Muara or Kuala pusong is rich in all its natural products and rich in its phenomenon which often happens once a year. However, natural phenomena that are often seen are not mentioned in this post but will be mentioned in the next post.

Thus a brief introduction about the Pusong estuary which is rich in natural beauty and also has a variety of phenomena that often occur. Hope it is useful for all of us. Thank you very much.
