What an amazing day we have spent at L’Escala today. An excellent weather, amazing water temperatures for swimming and very few people around, due to the COVID19 effect, of course.
Usually this small village of 3000 people on winter used to get around 70000 on summer time due to the massive amount of visitors coming during holidays, mainly from France but also from Barcelona.
At those times, it was impossible to get a picture like the following:

Additionally, we have discovered that the casualties regarding COVID19 affected people here has been very little so, it is probably the best moment to visit this zone of the Costa Brava.
We have taken a good decision coming here for holidays indeed.
