Large Fly

This fly is huge compared to others that I have shot.

I was walking outside the house looking for a good subject matter to shoot when I came across this large silver fly resting on a branch.

Took a few shots, didn't like the angle of this shot but still it seems to be one of my favorite. I just fancy the detail and the sheer size of the fly.

The eyes were bright orange, it looks fat and it is silver in colour. It stood for quiet awhile at the branch but the slight breeze was making the shot a challenge.
