The dangerous art of selfies.

Check it out these 5 crazy examples:

#01 - Adventure in Christ the Redeemer.

If you aren't afraid of heights, what do you think of facing such a selfie at the top of Christ the Redeemer (Rio de Janeiro / Brazil)? This photo was taken by Lee Thompson, the founder of solo travel company Flashpack.

#02 - Skyscraper in Dubai.

This one is also for those who have no problem with height.

Viki Odintcova, a Russian model posted on Instagram a photo of her "climbing" a skyscraper in Dubai, where she is holding - and being held - only the assistant's arm. There is no equipment to ensure her safety.

#03 - Danger in the wildlife.

Not afraid of wildlife? So, how about a photo taken very close to a bear?

The American photographer Paul Sounders took a picture of a bear in Katmai National Park (Alaska).

#04 -  Sharkselfie.

This citizen there (named Dale Péarson) noticed that there was a big animal (a white shark) near the beach of Cortez (Mexico). He and a friend found that the animal was stranded, when in fact it was only feeding of stingrays.

Of course, the brilliant idea was to have to approach the animal to be able to take selfie.

# 05 - A selfie with high temperature.

This crazy canadian named George Kourounis raised the danger of selfishness by taking a close - I mean, very close - photo of the Benbow volcano on Ambrym Island (Vanuatu).

Are you brave enough to do something like that?
