Haha! But you were quite patient - must have taken a while for the leaves to unravel and grow etc. Green Poinsettia! What a nice surprise. Good thing you didn't mistake it for a weed. 😅 PlantNet's another app worth testing out!

The reason I was patient is because my style of gardening is:

  1. Plant various seeds randomly and see if they grow.
  2. Take leftover or old vegetables and plant them to see if they will grow.

For example, I will plant old cherry tomatoes that would normally find their way to the trash. In this way they have an opportunity to grow vs. winding up in the landfill. The tomato plant pictured above is a cherry tomato that was planted and grew.
