In this series of poems, I'll gather the great philosophical poet, known as Khayyam's poems
his poetry is simple, short and deep




From mosque an outcast, and to church a foe,
Allah! of what clay didst thou form me so?
Like skeptic monk, or ugly courtesan,
No hopes have I above, no joys below.

نه لایق مسجدم نه در خورد کِنِشت
دانــــد ایـــزد گـــل مرا از چه سرشت
نــــه دین و نه دنیا و نه امید بهشت
چون کافر درویشم و چون قحبه ی زشت


A brief info on poet :

Omar Khayyám, was a Persian polymath, scholar, mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet, widely considered to be one of the most influential thinkers of the Middle Ages. He also wrote numerous treatises on mechanics, geography, mineralogy, astronomy and music.
