Ya nunca vas a regresar a ser quien fuiste hace 2, 5, 10 años.
Puede que no te rías dos veces del mismo chiste, ese que te hizo llorar.
Puede que no te emocione de nuevo esa canción, esa que te obsesionó.
Puede que no te sorprenda dos veces el mismo detalle, ese que te enamoró.
Puede que no te defraude de nuevo la misma persona, esa que te rompió el corazón.
Puede que no y puede que sí.
Lo que es seguro es que tu ya no volverás a ser el mismo.
Y está bien. Y lo tienes que aceptar.
Por que si bien nunca podrás volver a sentirte igual, y nunca podrás volver a ser el mismo, podrás ser esta nueva versión de ti.
Esta versión que ya fracasó, pero que también ya aprendió. Esta que sabe poquito más de la vida, y que se interesa por cosas nuevas.
Esta que aún puede sentirse bien con todo su nuevo pasado, y esta persona, esta que a base de vivencias sobrevivió, para mi vale más que la anterior.

You might not be surprised by the same attention again, the one that made you fall in love.
You might not be let down by the same person again, the one that broke your heart.
You might not or you might.
But what´s certain is that you won´t be the same again.
And it´s okay. And you have to accept it.
Because even though you will never feel the same again, and you will never be the same again, you will be able to be this new version of you.
This version that has already failed, but that also has already learned. This version that know a bit more about life, and that is not interested in different things.
This version that can feel good regardless of it´s past and, this person, the one that learned based on life lessons, to me,
it´s worth a lot more than the old one.
