This Is a little something I wrote during one of my many sleepless nights. Everyone has something in their life that helps them move and go forward. For me it's words, whether I'm down or up or left or right words help me through my day and below is a few words from the downs.
I do not have a name for it yet but for now I'll call it 'Light In The Tunnel' although there is a big chance I am going to change the name and of course I might also work on improvising it, It still need a few touches here and there.
Light In The Tunnel
Sleepless nights
Silents tears
Is it me or do I hear screams?
Never mind me it must be in my ears
I work all day but none of it yields
I'm sitting here thinking where did it all go wrong
This isn't how I imagined life would be
Why are we all here if we're all just meant to bleed
But no matter how fast I run
No matter how much I yearn
I fall straight back down and I'm tired of getting up
So screw the end of the tunnel
If I can't reach the light
I'll just have to make my own way
Even if I have to scratch and crawl
No matter how much I sweat or bleed
I won't give in
And I know that life isn't fair
I didn't sign up for this shit but I can't stop here
I can't give up here no I won't quit here
I don't know where I'll go
I don't know where to go
But don't you worry about me I'll find my way
And instead of looking at me and judging me
Why don't you worry about your own way and maybe we'll meet again someday
